The Village of Cayuga Heights Clerk’s office provides general governmental functions for the Village of Cayuga Heights as well as service-oriented support to all departments within the village structure.
The Village Clerk’s Office is responsible for keeping the official records of the Village. The Office must retain pertinent documents, preserve archival materials, and index minutes providing the legislative history for the Village. This responsibility includes preserving contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and minutes of the Board of Trustee meetings.
The Village Clerk’s Office also performs services such as trash tags sales, receiving of property tax payments and water /sewer payments. Taxes are received each year starting on June 1st. Water and Sewer is received quarterly in the months of February, May, August & November. The office is closed all weekends and federal holidays.
