UPDATE 3.27.2026: The Village of Cayuga Heights Board of Trustees authorized and approved, amending the Village Zoning law on Planned Development Zones to account for the Upland Estates Project. View a copy HERE.
UPDATE 3.3.2026: The Village Board of Trustees and the Designers from Whitham Planning Design Landscape Architecture, PLLC have been working on solidifying a new PDZ. On Thursday March 5th at 7PM there will be a special meeting of the BOT to discuss the PDZ further. Witham’s presentation can be viewed HERE.
UPDATE 12.4.2025: The Village Board of Trustees together with the Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing on SEQR for this project on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Cayuga Heights fire station.
UPDATE 11.13.2025:
The site walk through took place on Saturday November 8th, there was a good turn out and everyone who participated was able to visualize the height, placement and potential driveway location and how everything potentially will impact the neighborhood.
A Joint meeting of the BOT and the Planning Board was held Wednesday the 12th at 7PM where all trustees and PB members expressed their thoughts on the proposed PDZ. Moving forward there will be another joint meeting in December that will include a public hearing and a SEQR review.
