Arbor Day Tree Seedling Giveaway

2026 Arbor Day Celebration – Friday April 24

Tree Planting:
At 9:30 am, a tree will be planted at the Congregational Church 309 Highland Rd.

Tree Seedling Giveaway:
At 12 noon, tree seedlings (2 to 3 feet tall) will be given away to Cayuga Heights residents outside Village Hall.

The following tree species are available:
Allegheny Serviceberry (Amelanchier laevis)
Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa)
River Birch (Betula nigra)
Tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera)

Each household can take one or two seedlings subject to demand. Planting instructions will be provided with each seedling. Please email questions to the Village Forester at fcowett@cayuga-heights.ny.us
