CHFD Busy Weekend

The Cayuga Heights Fire Department had a busy and productive weekend. On Saturday, they conducted an annual OSHA refresher training with 40 members in attendance. Following OSHA training, they also held a CPR refresher for 10 members to ensure their certifications remain current.

With an impending storm expected Saturday night into Sunday, many members who do not normally bunk elected to remain at the station for the duration of the storm. While some good football was enjoyed, the crew remained ready to respond as needed throughout the weather event.

Thank you also to the Cayuga Heights Department of Public Works for their support and availability should we have needed assistance with snow removal to reach calls.

Well done, all hands.
