Inspiring CHFD Team!

Attached are photographs and a video recording of the fire that occurred in Lansing yesterday afternoon. We returned to the scene at 4:30 this morning to address any remaining hotspots.

Our team consisted of 28 members, who served as the initial attack and primary search and rescue crew. Cayuga Heights firefighters worked hand in hand with Lansing Fire Company to commence roof ventilation, primary search, and fire suppression efforts.

It is always inspiring to witness the dedication and commitment of this young group to providing such essential services. They are an exceptional team, and the village can take pride in their efforts.
