On Saturday November 8th from noon to 2 pm. The Board of Trustees and the Planning Board will meet Whitham Design Group at the property directly behind Community Corners on East Upland. This property has been owned by Mark Mecenas for years and there has been a few different iterations of proposed East Upland Estates Project plans that have been presented to the board over the years. This one is considerably toned down due to a State imposed 100′ no disturb zone from the wetlands that are present on the property. To view the current plans see the projects page, linked below. As part of the walk through on Saturday there are plans to use a telescoping pole to demonstrate the height that the planned townhouses will occupy to help give a visual for those who attend. This event is open to the public. It you plan to attend please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for walking through mud and underbrush.
